Prior to that he led Corporate Development at TRUMPF. More than 10 years of experience at DEKRA SE, as EVP Strategy & Innovation and CEO DEKRA DIGITAL. 

Born as an Egyptian Franconian. 

Studied information systems and international management in Münster and Lund. Earned his PhD at EBS University in Oestrich-Winkel and Bocconi Milan.
