Hanna Asmussen is the CEO and Co-Founder of Localyze, a global mobility platform for companies and their employees. After working at BCG group and PwC, Hanna teamed up with CRO Lisa Dahlke and CTO Dr. Franziska Löw in 2018 to address the frustrations of moving talent across international borders. After participating in Y-Combinator’s 2019 program, the trio raised a Series A round backed by Frontline Ventures and Blossom Capital. In late 2022, the team closed a Series B funding round worth $35 million led by General Catalyst. Alongside her co-founders, Hanna has been able to grow the startup and help companies move employees from more than 130 countries. Her entrepreneurial achievements have earned her several accolades, such as Handelsblatt and McKinsey’s Female Founder Award and a place in Capital Magazine’s 40 under 40 list.
