Matthias Graf von Kielmansegg is Managing Director of Vodafone Stiftung Deutschland and responsible for the strategic development and operational management. For the past eight years, Matthias Graf von Kielmansegg has headed the Policy Issues and Strategies Directorate General at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. From 2005 to 2014, he was Head of Staff for Political Planning and Policy Issues at the Federal Chancellery, and later, as a Leader of the Directorate of Families, Senior Citizens, Women, Youth, Education and Research. He is a trustee of the Hoffbauer Foundation, the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI and the Humboldt University Foundation. Matthias Graf von Kielmansegg studied law at the universities of Freiburg and Göttingen, is married and has three children.
