As a seasoned tech founder and startup investor, my journey is marked by global experiences and diverse ventures. Born in Morocco, I delved into mathematics and computer science studies in France, then ventured to Germany to work at SAP as a software engineer for over five years. In 2018, I took a strategic leap, joining the office of the SAP CTO and Hasso Platner's team, focusing on pivotal global tech projects. However, the entrepreneurial call was strong, and in 2019, I left SAP to establish my first venture, Xibit – an Augmented Reality SaaS/Deeptech startup. This transition marked my evolution from a tech expert to a versatile business leader, managing sales, marketing, and a dedicated team of nine. 2022 was another year of transformation, as I launched Waanda, a B2B wholesale marketplace bridging African producers with European retailers. This VC-backed enterprise challenged me to scale operations and introduce technology to a traditionally late tech adopter market. Currently, I bring my rich tapestry of experience to Ananda Impact Ventures, where I am deeply involved in investing €500K to €3M in European startups with a focus on positive impact.
