Norbert startet his career in advertising back in the 90ties as an intern in one of the biggest commercial film production companies in Germany. After learning the skills on set he studied commercial film production at the internationally recognized Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, wich he finished with diploma in 2003. Norbert worked as an executive producer and shot all kinds of formats for different national and international brands on different continents, before he started to work as an agency producer in both the biggest network and independent agencies, and as consultant for advertising companies. With an eye on developments like the decline of television as we know it, social media being the new lead medium, and the rise of gaming, XR and AI, Norbert connects the dots and - following the development from his early days until now - ventures a look into the future of commercial content and the resulting change of the industry. Norbert is author of the book „The Commercial Content Revolution“, consults advertisers as well as advertising agencies on the change of commercial content and is senior lecturer in the master's program „CineCraft Transmedia Narrative“ at Fachhochschule Salzburg.
