Joachim Marschal joined Uber for Business in September 2021 and is responsible for developing and growing the business in the DACH region as Country Manager. He leads the sales team and played a key role in the successful market entry of Uber for Business, which launched in Germany in mid 2020. From the outset, his focus has been on creating solutions that make business mobility a seamless and impactful experience. Before joining Uber, Joachim worked in the travel industry for over a decade after completing his degree in International Tourism Management. He then moved to Amazon, where he was instrumental in the launch of Amazon Business in Germany, and later worked as a Cloud Consultant at AWS. With more than a decade of B2B experience, Joachim combines expertise in digitalization, corporate travel, and business transformation. He is a sought-after speaker on the digitalization of mobility, valued for his deep understanding of how technology can reshape the way companies move their people.
